The Business Office Manager is a key department leader who maintains accounting systems at the facility including census information, employee payroll, and accounts payable invoicing. The selected candidate will accurately and efficiently follow all company policies and procedures. The Office Manager is responsible for the timely collection of accounts receivable from all payer sources.
Qualified candidates will have aggressive collections experience, record keeping ability, general computer literacy, and impeccable communication skills.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Maintain accurate records and communicate information to central accounting for Resident billing
• Coordinate payroll processing
• Maintain personnel files and assist with benefits administration
• Prepare correspondence and other forms / documents needed for daily operations
• Proper coding of Accounts Payable invoices
• Maintain petty cash fund
• Order office supplies
2+ years experience as an office manager. Experience in a long term care facility a plus. Aggressive collections experience. Efficient skills and experience in MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment.
Knowledge of and ability to operate and maintain equipment: fax machine, calculator, photocopier, telephone, computer and printer. Proficiency in keyboard and data entry skills and ability to use ten-key calculator.
MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR/HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Woodway Assisted Living is recruiting for a full time Maintenance Technician.
JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the total maintenance and repair of a senior apartment community including the building, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, air conditioning, flooring and grounds. This includes a preventive and responsive maintenance schedule. The Maintenance Technician is also responsible for ensuring the building and its systems are maintained and function within all state/federal regulatory codes/guides. In some situations this position supervises housekeeping and laundry departments.
High school graduate or GED, prefer completion of apprenticeship in construction, carpentry, mechanical systems.
Minimum of one year general maintenance or construction experience

PART-TIME DIETARY AIDE
Woodway is currently recruiting for a part time Dietary Aide. The position must ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis, that residents' food requests, needs and interests are met, and that the Food Services Department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
1. Genuine concern for and ability to work with the elderly.
2. Knowledge of the requirements for providing nutrition standards to the elderly.
3. Knowledge of and ability to conform to:
• State/federal food service and sanitation regulations
• OSHA Standards
• Safe operation of kitchen appliances
• Special diets including: low sodium, diabetic, vegetarian, gluten free; and special diet textures and liquid viscosities
4. Must be able to utilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where required.
5. Ability to manage and prioritize a large, complex workload.
6. Speech/language- must have strong command of the English language sufficient to read, write, and interpret menus, recipes, and food service/sanitation information.
Minimum high school graduate, preferred two years of college specializing in culinary arts or nutrition. Required, current ServSafe certification and Food Handler's permit.
Preferred one year experience as a chef/cook in either a health care setting or restaurant.

RESIDENT CARE COORDINATOR
Woodway Assisted Living in beautiful Bellingham Washington is recruiting for a full time Resident Care Coordinator. The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for the management of care staff and solid management skills is desirable. Also in charge of the care coordination of resident medical services, such as, transportation to medical appointments, physician and specialist appointments, hospice, home health, x-rays, lab work, dialysis and therapy services. This position ensures that all resident medical records and documents are processed accurately and timely and then filed according to company policies and procedures. The Resident Care Coordinator is also responsible for the safe administration of medications, treatments and resident care duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, state and federal regulations and as directed by the Director of Health Services. Must enjoy working with seniors. Prefer 6 months experience as med tech but we will train the right candidate. Must pass a background check and a drug screen.
